Just remember, standard and inline regulators are not good when set to a few psi, they are very inaccurate.
You may well be able to bolus the keg, just add some nitrogen before serving a few glasses and then leave it untopped up when you have finished serving.

My intent is to bottle
I normally use the small digital gauges, easier to get a calibrated reading on and show consistency
They haven't let me down yet using them this way

The gauge is accurate the adjustment and control part of those systems is not.
