So we accept this then what next charging to go into every large town and city she may be well over the top but when this comes to your city will you be happy?
My nearest city - Swansea is a bit of a hole thesedays lots of chavs so being restricted to 15 mins is not a challenge, staying 15 mins is wink...

I only visit to go to a bar usually beerriff or brewdog and these journeys are on bike. I have given up on trains as they have a system that checks if I've bought a ticket 🎟️ by matching my credit card and then cancelling those trains I was going to take. 35-40 mins in a box with coughing and spluttering strangers I'm not doing either.

Cinema? I have a big flat TV comfy seats and great beer so no need to endure the great unwashed there either.

These twerps are killing off the cities and then they'll be trying to bring the people back in due to fall in trade & business. What a bunch of air soles

Cardiff I've found to be a much better experience although they've been a car hating city since before it was fashionable. And well train issues even worse there. Don't think they are as bad as Bristol when it comes to car hating though.

What are 15 minute cities. Despite loads of ramblings on here nobody as actually talked about it in any detail.

I don't know what is happening in Oxford and Cambridge and don't care. Is it anything to do with the uni's?
It's local authorities implementing globalist policies, WEF policies specifically, you will own nothing and be happy.

Technocrats controlling everything using technology is their aim, all stated on their own website and all the corporations and governments globally are falling in line. Digital ID and CBDCs next.

This is fascinating, for those that believe what she says is not true, what message would you like to hear about 15 minute cities and what is proposed to happen in Oxford and Canterbury test cities (with others to rapidly follow suit)?
For those that can't stand the sight nor sound of her, who would you prefer to provide the message? (if you think that there is some truth in the message).
For those who can't stand the sight nor sound of her and don't believe the message either, then what do you believe is happening to Oxford & Cambridge?
No one has said it is not true, what has been said is this ***** adding to it with false information, she is anti everything

So once we get past the ad hominem attacks we can discuss the substance of Chippies original intent, which is the first few minutes of her message athumb..

Like rod, I have googled this, its in place in some cities around the world (cagliari, Melbourne and Portland) and nowhere can I see any of the hysteria miss Hopkins espouses. She is not a planning consultant nor works in government implementation so really has no idea what this means other than to shout her mouth of as usual.

I for one am glad she has drawn our attention to it Ok after two minutes she goes off on one but the info in the first two minutes is shocking.

It’s not so much about ‘car hating’ as about trying to get people to use alternatives.

A certain percentage of the [global] population will be totally unaware and oblivious to the WEF, a certain percentage will be aware but not interested/don't understand the implications/have too little time to research - this cohort will be the majority and the WEF rely on this passive acceptance of their policies.

The smaller, but still sizeable rest of the population will be made up of those that are aware of the WEF and follow its general direction, have done some research and will question what is happening and why and then there are those that are aware have done some research and agree with their policies in the way the WEF portrays them and those who are aware but just don't care anyway.

WEF are the same Davos bunch of bankers and billionaires that are poised to rule the world with their green agenda, biosecurity state and technological controls. You may agree or disagree with their ideologies, the outcome will be the same.

However they are using local councils to implement their policies with full support of whatever government is in power, left/right/middle it won't matter across all states on the planet. Governments are bought, corporations are bought, Media is bought, Unions are bought, institutions are bought, education is bought, it's how they achieve their end goals.

There was a large pushback on the covid controls that they didn't expect during the pandemic, this has slowed the rate of progress for implementation of a digital identity (ever wonder why track and trace was withdrawn) but they will try again.

You may try and label this as conspiracy theory but it is published by themselves for all to see, albeit in flowery language to make it sound like a benefit for us - but the truth is we have no say in what is happening at the global level only people voting against local council implementation of WEF policies is where we have any fight worth fighting.

Remember when Mark Carney, former BOE chief said that any company not heeling to their policies and toeing the line would be made bankrupt? All part of the same agenda and ideology, it's been decades in the making with plenty of clues along the way for anyone paying attention or who is interested in researching further.

I am personally not glued to a particular viewpoint, I am concerned with the direction we are headed without transparency and input from citizens, everything must be questioned when it comes to government given the level of corruption that exists, we must somehow hold them to account for actions that impact us to our detriment but appear to enrich themselves - nothing new in that, but blind acceptance of policy implementation without wider participation is not the way forward.

I agree 100% - but when the alternatives are 💩 or even non existent and i've tried not to drive, heck I want to drink lots of beer when I get there, IF I can get there. p.s I love the peppercorn in Narbeth, 😍 and would have a couple of bevvies more there and desserts etc. with the delicious food but hard to get accommodation and a poor public transport means its one beer and a main and i'm gone. It's such a shame as i'd love to spend more there but hey-ho.

That's a great summary.👍 my view is as i'm heading towards 60 it's not my fight. security over freedom is an age old battle that just goes around and around. have we not learned anything? - obviously not.

So I googled and the list of cities under the 15 minute all seem mighty fine places, although I haven't been to everyone. I don't tend to visit cities and rarely travel outside my little hamlet, unless I am on my bike. Even at worse case scenario like some of a thinking then I think it sounds ideal. Will check with my local counsel to see what their plans are, the fact that they are spending a couple of million locally on green spaces and making things bike friendly all sounds positive.

Not sure the site owners would be overly happy with conspiracy being bandied about as fact on here.

You can lump the WEF stuff into the WHO/5G/Bill Gates/George Soros/Infowars/Sandy Hook was a hoax, file of utter contemptible bo**ocks.

Conspiracy theorists love to appear like they have some special insight or critical thinking skills because they believe something outwith the "mainstream". In reality, they are swallowing utter tripe pedalled by lunatics with their own agendas, hook, line and sinker.

Unfortunately Covid as turned everyone into some sort of conspiracy theorist, perhaps they put something into the vaccine.............
