seem to be having a slight problem with my beer not being as bright as it should be. It does tend to show more in the light beers as the ales and bitters are definitely clearer. Not really had this problem too much before as time will clear it but recently the last say 6 brews it is not as clear as it should be.
I do use protofloc/whirfloc tabs in the brew and if it has a heavy trub syphon off to a secondary by the way I do chill cube/fv method and this has always worked for me but even with time I am getting a not as clear beer as I used to could it be the malts I am using or any other suggestions welcome I have tried using kwik clear and it is still hazy
 
I don't have any real experience with no chill brewing but I remember reading this Brulosophy article which I though was interesting.

In the above you'll notice the no chill be was notably hazier than the quick chill beer, even after fining with gelatine. I had always thought no chill beers were more susceptible to haziness in general.

Could it be that the haze is present in the darker beers you've been brewing but you just haven't noticed it as clearly as you would in a lighter style? What styles did you notice it in versus those that you didn't?
 
You don't mention how long you have left the brew to condition and clear in a cool dark place but generally ...

Personally, I've never used a clearing agent for beer but I have had to wait a number of months for some brews to clear.

is the general rule this end too.. the last pint drawn from a keg can be depressingly crystal clear ;)

and a chill haze may be negated with a slightly warmer serving temp than straight out of the fridge.
 
Thanks for all the replies some of the beers have been in the keg for 3 months probably in denial that is is no chill but my latest bitter/pale ale was crystal after a month?
not chill haze as it is put through chillers so not as cold as the kegerator I have
 
My beers are always super clear...

I use Harris Britewort @ 10 minutes before end of boil...
Benefits: Improved hot break compaction, improved yeast vitality during fermentation, improved beer haze and colloidal stability.​

I also use Wyeast London Ale III for most brews, which clears up nicely within a week or two in the FV. Other yeasts with high flocculation will do just as well.

I keep all my beers in the FV for at least two weeks, they are always clear by this point.

Also I never cold crash and everything from the boiler goes into the FV (un-filtered).
