Hi ive recently brought a homebrew kit, thought id make cider used 2/3 fresh apples and 1/3 apple juice been nrewing about 5 days know and a thick crust/skin has formed on top is this normal??

Although I think this post may be meant for the wine and cider discussions section of the forum... not that I don't like a good cider :twisted:
