Hello there! First time poster, long time wanting to try it out!
I've just started my first batch of turbo cider (I plan to let it settle a bit though so it's a bit less turbo-like).
I've taken my starting gravity, but it's been a couple of days and the froth has subsided. If I add my last 1/2 lire of juice now, wont that affect what the starting gravity would have been if I had originally put it all in at once (I added some sugar to the mix)? How do I work out what it would have been at, or would the difference be negligible?
This was a 1 gallon batch - 4 1/2 litres now, and 1/2 waiting to go in. It only frothed a little bit (about 1cm for a day). is this normal?
Cheers
