Since I've been giving the new kit it's first run out today, I thought I'd share a few shots from my day.

I'm giving Bombay IPA a go this time to keep things reasonably simple while I learn the quirks of the new equipment. Things went pretty muchto plan, apart from a few litres more loss than I planned for down to some pipe work 'issues'

So, some pictures...

New HLT, tun & pump ready for action

9.5kg of grain ready to go

Recirculating the mash

Solar pump doing its stuff

First runnings in to the boiler

'Most' of the hops

A good boil

1054'ish

and 38 litres in the fermenter

hmmm yes it would concern me a little too, indoors nearby curtains naked flame however I'm sure your aware of the dangers and have taken adequate precautions.
