Does anyone know of a list of freezers that are deep enough to accomodate Cornies and connectors online anywhere? I seem to remember reading about a Zanussi model that didn't require conversion with a wooden collar?

Most above 150l will fit a couple of cornies, gas and a chiling fermenter. Heading the other direction, 145l and down are a bit tight. Fit your taps to the lid to avoid hitting the plumbing.

Isn't the wooden collar useful for fitting taps through? (He says, being a complete cornie/ generator virgin)

Hi!
I, too, thought that the main reason for fitting the collar is as you have said - to avoid drilling into the freezer.
On smaller freezers it does increase the capacity but most of the mods online are for freezers that are plenty deep enough.
