Cheap fermenters

Not wanting to tie up a 25L fermenter for TC I've been brewing in an 18.5L water bottle, the type you see on drinks dispensers. I initially put in 16L and a further 2L when the action has died down. As an entry level fermenter they're for nothing The only things required are your juice, steriliser, yeast, larger size bung and airlock.

Great idea! I've never seen big bottles of water like that in supermarkets near me - only ever when I go on holiday abroad. Can't be taking one of those in my suitcase though

They get picked up and re-filled by the supplier...unless you intercept one first :whistle:
