Elder Brother Wez has just called to see how the brew was going :?

Told him that it might last him longer than Christmas as 3 pints and he'll be trollied.

Well done that man, squeezing every last bit of alcohol out of that grain. Now thats Scots style prudence and frugality in action. Your brother wont notice he is trollied at 3 pints he wil be on Pint 5 before he suddenly loses the power of speach.... That the downside of this AG brewing, it doesnt taste strong.... and its so moreish that you cant stop at just 3......
Sood days brewing Wez well done

Im keepintg the strength of "Duh" secret from my brotheri n law, he will turn up at Chrimbo and leach into my alcolarder as usual. And he is partial to an Irish stout and before he knows it he will be slobbering onto his bib.... Especially if I feed a port into it.... Well I like a bit of sport

Frisp   :thumb:

All done and dusted, 50L 1.058 (on the hydrometer) so thats an 87% efficiency  :?

Will post a could of pics in a bit :D

I finally got bit of consistency out of my new system...I loose 21L from pre boil volume to FV volume, started today with 71L in the boiler, ended up with 50L in the FV.

Post boil volume was 60L so I lost 11L to the boil and 10L to boiler, trub hops etc...

Only 2 pics
