l think my Brewbarrel Bavarian Lager is ready to bottle. I bought some Coopers Carbination Drops and it recommends one drop 375ml. I will be putting it in 500ml bottles - will one drop be enough.

I feel I would have been better with Muntons Carbination Drops as these are each intended for one drop per 250ml. Easy.

I could try breaking some of the Coopers’ ones in half, but that might be difficult?

Any thought or advice would be welcomed.

2 days is way too short I don't know why they would say that, give them 2-3 weeks as hoddy said, bottle one in a plastic pop bottle to test it, as it carbonates it'll get firmer to squeeze and will be quite hard by the time it's finished.

I've not tried the drops yet, I first messed around with pouring 1/2 teaspoons into the bottles but now just batch prime and it is far faster and easier . I guess carb drops are easy too, but cost a fair bit for basically just a bit of sugar.

So far I've batch primed with brew sugar, plain white and soft brown sugar, and all have done the trick and none have left any bad flavours.
