Carbonated turbo cider?

I'm not a big exponent of pressure barrels I much prefer " gockles of geer ". However whatever you use for maturing, then don't prime first.
If you add priming sugars the yeasts will continue to munch away until they have used it all up, activity then ceases and the beer will move on to maturing.
It won't mature and carbonate at the same time, so all you have done is put off the starting point of maturation, all be it by only a few days.
 
I'm going to be brewing up my first big batch of TC after payday this month, was planning on 23l but as ever this place is a bad influence, so I'll be going for closer to 30 now :)

I'm off to my LHBS next weekend for some DME (planning a Cooper's Stout, so need some dark malt extract), I'll grab some more tannin and malic acid while I'm there as I don't think I've got enough left for 23 litres in my brew kit :D
