As the title says , so was thinking along the lines of getting a fridge/freezer and using the fridge part as a kegerator and in the freezer put a container of glycol , pumped out to pipework in a ss fermenter . Then using a heated jacket control heating and cooling using an inkbird. Can't imagine it hasn't been tried before so hope some of you can help me out with the feasibility of cooling in this manner. What do you think ?

It sounds like a great idea.
The only issue I see is that you are limited by standard fridge and freezer temperatures. Because if you were to bugger around with external controls of the fridge then the freezer would not maintain temp.
