I have started a coopers draught starter kit.
I used 1kg brewers sugar as supplied with kit.
Yeast in at 24 deg og 1037
It's under the stairs blipping away nothing dramatic at 20deg
Plan to bottle.
When i have bottled and left for a week then cooled for 2 weeks can i store at room temp or does it have to stay cold , also is the bottling sequence the same for stout and bitter

I store at room temp, it's not the best cool storage is better but not always feasible. You have to go with what you have got an the most important thing is a steady temperature, I'd rather be a bit warm and steady than up and down. Bottling is the same for all beers (pretty much)

cheers for that was just bugging me am going to buy a fridge for the garage just for brew
but not going to be big enough to get two brews in so could do to store elsewhere
plan on doing a stout for christmas present for my father so could do to leave a few months

If your garage is a steady temperature than that should be ok (if basically it is brick built) if it is like mine concrete and the temperature is up and down like well you know the phrase then one answer would be to get a box (or build a cabinet) line it with bubble wrap and forget about it

cheers for the replies
plan to store in house under the stairs garage is concrete and south facing so big temp swings
under the stairs seems to be the most consistent temp place i have
well its the best i have got so will just have to see how it goes
