Evening.

I know much discussion has been had regarding campden/boiling of water and Chlorine. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a consensus to my question and so am asking.

I would like to brew tonight from a Wherry kit. I forgot to boil/campden water last night to use now.

What is your advice? Can I put 1/2 campden into water, and rock on? Can I just go nuts with tap water (Veolia Southeast says they only use Chlorine and not Chloramine).

Again, apologies if you are answering this specific question yet again. I just couldn't find an answer to suit me, and the clock is ticking.

Thanks for the quick reply thejesmonddingo.

Do I have to wait any amount of time before adding yeast?

I've always just gone ahead and added campden tablet and waited about 5-10 mins before adding to brew (time taken to empty wort out, boil kettles etc). This has meant about 20-30 mins before pitching the yeast...

As said, they meant to be instantaneous, so I would't worry :)

Im a all grainer mate and i never use salts or anything straight from tap and i get 85-90% sugar extract its a thing we call something the usaul is 75%
