Brewferm Gallia....?

Been in the fermenter over a week now.

Gravity at 1020. Worried it might be stuck, it's been like that for a few days, only very minimal bubbles rising very slowly. I use closed fermenter's with regular airlocks. It's bubbling once every few minutes. :wha:

Brewferm say to bottle at 1010.
 
Probably needs a good ole stir - that should get things going (if your temps are ok). ;)
 
Sounds like its just slowing down as it gets to the end. what was the OG?
This is pretty normal i think.
towards the end of most of my brews i get some real slow bubbles. they can end up being as much as an hour apart.
just leave it alone for a little while longer and keep measuring the gravity would be my advice.
 
Thanks gentlemen, it did eventually get to 1012. I was happy with that and bottled.

As the instructions say, takes a decent amount of time to mature.

Probably about two months to get the best from it I reckon. :(

Damn I'm thirsty!
 
...and so as with Old Flemisch Brown this too has been left a while.

Though unfortunately I can't speak as highly of the Gallia as I can the Old Brown.

At room temp just like the Old Brown, forget it, doesn't work.

At a chilled temp it's much the same but this is due to sediment lifting. I've had one bottle where it didn't so far, it was quite pleasing, a Lefe taste was there. But as for the rest not too good, shame since it had potential. :(
