Brewferm cherry ale

Hi guys on tge brewferm cherry ale how would I reduce the abv as 6% will be too strong for me

Is it an extract kit? Options would be to brew it with more liquid than the kit instructs.. so if it's 19L brew to 23 (for example) you will loose some of the flavour profile but prob not enough to worry about it.

Additional it's 6% based on their projected og and fg. You may very well not get down to the FG they suggest and therefore will be lower ABV.

It is a 12L kit, so if you want it less strong, add water at any stage
