Used the Brewfather App now for a couple of brews and all works out just fine and is pretty accurate on the calculations.
I have been using a pre-defined equipment profile (Brewmonk - 30L) for my all-in-one brewing system which is in the equipment list.
Now for small brews, 9L, I use a BIAB with no sparge. The profile in the equipment list is for a 25L pot and my pot is only 15L.
If I select BIAB no sparge 25L profile then the water quantities are too great for my pot.
The question is how do I customise the BIAB -25L to make a BIAB - 15L to match my brew pot and get the correct water quantities?
Any Brewfather experts out there that can point me in the right direction.
I've looked in the edit equipment profile tab but don't see where the 25L is specified.

You can add your own equipment profile and configure it any way you like (that's what I did anyway)

It's in the settings part to make your own profile. I'm on the android app and if you click the menu top left it gives you the option to look at 'Profiles' that's where you can change it.

I'm pretty sure I set this up when I was using the free version....... that said, there are other functions that were in the free version that were subsequently removed (something to do with inventory, I forget exactly) so its entirely possible that equip. profile has also been removed.
It was at this point I decided the full version was worth having.
It's all I use now. I did have a BIABacus spreadsheet and written notes etc.

Thanks guys for your help.
I just can't see where you can set the size of your brewing pot in the settings.
You can set the final batch volume you want in the fermenter and a lot of other parameters.
Must be missing something here as if I choose the profile for my Brewmonk then it knows the batch volume OK.

I can’t see that either (I have a 16 litre pot)

I think it works out the target strike water from all the settings you put in; batch size, boil off value, grain absorption, fermenter loss etc. Once all those are in (and set correctly) it will give you the water values to use for a recipe and at this point you work out if the vessel is big enough. If not, change the batch size / settings accordingly.

There is probably a better way to do it but, frankly, some of this is a bit confusing, even after having read the help files.

As you do a few batches, you will hone those values and it will be more precise.

Sorry I can’t be a bit more definitive.

As long as your pot is big enough for your needs why does the size need to be known?
I can make up to around 25 litres in my 32 litre pot but I can't make 33 litres without adding water to the fv after the boil and making calculations for the hops and abv.
Edit...
Does the software account for system losses...boil off, trub etc?
This does need to be considered but you work that out within a few brews...also it could be different if you have other pots etc you alternate with.
