Ok my brewery room is brickbuilt 3'x5' i cant get more space except a bit in the old asbestos garage which is full at the moment i am brewing kits and wine fermentation temp varies between 15o at night and 21 in the day if sunny, at the moment before the onset of winter i can cope, but how do i get fermentation going in the winter brew belts are out because i would need to many and a thermostatic room heater is not good cause i store my beer/wine in there to mature.
next problem how do i keep 4 barrels and 80 beer bottles and 60 wine bottles cool to mature in summer?

Small Aircon Unit and insulate the room . . . That's what Beerbloke did for his cool room for storing his casks before they go out to the customer. . . . otherwise get yourself a couple of fridges / freezers for fermenting / storing / dispensing in

so the best way is room heater to keep temp right for ferment in winter and fridges to mature and aircon machine for summer this is going to be one dear hobby/self sufficient way of life! :wha:  Aleman

Some aircon units will actullay heat as well as cool, just set the the temp and it will switch between the 2. maybe going into the upper end of the market though?

If you're storing stuff in there then you don't want to heat the room too much. You can insulate your fermenters which will keep a lot of the heat that fermentation produces in, pitch the yeast at 25 degrees to give it a good start before it cools down too much. Or buy immersion heaters, but you say you've got too many FVs so it could be that you will have to limit your production.

Fridges can sometimes be had off freecycle for nothing.
