I'm building up my library steadily.
I have listed the main books I have below and a little about what I think of them.
I'd be grateful if forum members would do the same for any books I have not covered below as I will be looking to add to my library fairly soon.

First book I bought was 'The Big Book of Brewing' - Dave Line.
Probably a bit out of date now, but I loved his coverage of the basics and his 'can-do' attitude to everything. This book (and this website) convinced me I (anyone) could do AG.

'How To Brew' - John Palmer
This book I feel is very much like 'TBBoB', only with a lot more detail. Quite technical in places and a good reference book for many topics.
A lot of good information in this book for extract brewers.

'New Brewing Lager Beer' - Greg Noonan
I've bought this in readiness for my fermentofridge......judging by the time it's taken me to get round to fitting the tc10, I might get round to reading it properly by 2015
Lots and lots of detail, very technical.
Like I said; not really read it properly yet, but it certainly does show that brewing lagers and beers are two very different things.

'Radical Brewing' - Randy Mosher
I like this book a lot......I'd love it, if it weren't so damn aukward to read.
Lots of pictures and tables that do make the book hard to follow, but the history in there is great and there are loads of ideas from the ridiculous to the quite insane.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can add to the list.

Only have 3.
Brew Your Own Real Ale 3rd Edition :- Graham Wheeler.
Real Cider Making (on a small scale) :- Michael Pooley & John Lomax.
How to make Home Wines & Beers :- Francis Pinnegar.

Havn't read the 3rd as the name sounds too much like Vinegar

Only two that I ever use, but I use those on a regular basis:
“First Steps in Winemaking”, CJJ Berry
“Brew your own British Real Ale” (3rd Edition), Graham Wheeler.

Also on the shelf, but hardly ever used
“Wine Making at Home”, Francis Pinnegar (sounds too much like vinegar).
“Easy Made Wine & Country Drinks”, Mrs. Gennery-Taylor (no first name, probably picked up for a few pence from a charity shop).

There might be a couple more up my Mother's loft, Acton & Duncan rings a bell, but I mostly use the interweb.

Malting And Brewing Science (Briggs and Young et al) can be referenced for free on Google Books. I can't quite work it out if you can see the whole thing though.

Not much good for reading on the train though (it keeps the nutters away... unless you're the nutter).

Many of the books above I have also Home Brewing Self Sufficiency by John Parkes who just happens to own a local brewery near to me:

http://www.redrockbrewery.co.uk/index.htm

they do full on brewdays where you make the beer and when its bottled they deliver it to you, in his book he says ask your local brewery for wet yeast for free - he is about 10miles from me - guess who`s getting an e-mail tommorrow
