Latest project is converting a 100 litre stainless vessel into a fermenter. I have had a couple of 22 mm tubes welded into the bottom, with a view to putting stainless compression fittings and taps on them, as yeast and wort outlets.
I was planning on using a stainless 22 mm compression elbow, but cannot find stainless 22 mm compression bends and taps, it appears to be all BSP. Think in hindsight I should have used stainless BSP sockets.
Not the end of the world can be sorted but keen to get some beer made, stock is ZERO :(
So the question is can I use brass and plated taps or do I need to go all stainless in a fermenter :?

There is no reason that I know of that means you can't use copper alloy fittings in conjunction with stainless steel apart from aesthetics :thumb:

Thanks both. I am an oxy man, with videne so should be ok. I have ordered stainless valves with a brass comp / bsp adapters. :D

I prefer to use stainless . . . but with my rotating racking arm I had to use a 15mm brass compression nut . . .It's not caused any issues, but the next time I place an order with BES I'll be getting a 15mm Stainless one
