I am going bottling next week just wondering as i have not done this before

What sugar will i put into the bottles?

I am bottling a larger

I prime each bottle individually with 1/4 teaspoon for bitters and stouts. For IPA's and lagers a bit more fizz at 1/2 a teaspoon

I think that's around 90grams if your batch priming or kegging

Depends how big your bottles are. The majority use 1/2 teaspoon per 500ml / pint bottle for ales and a full teaspoon for lagers for the extra fizz. It obviously depends how much fizz you personally like too.

Have a look @ this topic re priming .......

check just how much you're actually putting in per bottle :!:

as I said in the final post on the above topic "So will be sticking to my batch priming of no more than 60g per 23 ltr and am looking to go even lower, towards 40g " which is down to between 2 and 3g per LITRE( or 1 and 1.5g per 500ml bottle) which when you weigh it out, will see it is a tiny amount :!:
