all done and resting in the water tank cupboard I can't wait to tast this one, it's a John bulls London porter, first time I've used a John bulls kit and it'll be first time I've tasted a porter to.
Anyone done this kit before ?

41 I got Paul, na I'm no gonna bother with labels, it's just me that drinks it so no need to as I know what's what, I just got my Scottish heavy on to, I steeped some grains for half an hour and added the kit and sugar to that so it should be nice when ready

You can always number the caps with a permanent marker pen :thumb:

The heavy I've put on will go I to pet bottles so ill be able to tell them apart but when I get another 40 odd glass bottles ill def be marking the lids just do I know what's what

I never label as I can't seem to manage to make labels.... so I use a chalk pen and just mark the initials of the brew on the bottle.

Unfortunately my Timothy Taylor brews were marked up as T/T.....due to a " bit of wear " they have become know as the tit brew....

I would like to know how this turns out, as I will be doing this kit next (was given it for Christmas, but had other kits to do first

I put on a John Bull, traditional English Ale on Sunday, be interesting to see how it turns out. I will do a write up in 6-8 weeks, once it's ready.

Good stuff, I ordered 3 maybe 4 Jon bull kits last week online but I was a bit weery at the time so I can't remember exactly which ones i ordered

Did you use a little bottler? I used if for the first time on Saturday and knocked about 2 hours off my bottling time :thumb:

By the way, what did you use to upload your pics if you don't mind me asking?

I just used my small bore hose with a valve fitted, a bit fiddly but it's all I have, I use the tapatalk app on the I phone and it can access my photos or camera on the phone it's great as I had some trouble getting pics on before I had this app
