I am sure this one has been discussed before but I have found wildly varying outcomes/opinions so though i would chuck it out there again..

I am planning brew No2. - Still trying to create some "benchmark" kit brews so sticking with the recipe as recommended by Coopers. Will expand/modify in the future.

Coopers Sparkling Ale, 1.5kg Light LME, 500g Light DME, 300g Sugar, Kit yeast.

My question is, would this be better kegged or bottled. I can get both in the fridge for conditioning and/or serving.

Cheers

On other forums I've seen Australians recommending that you mix the yeast back into this prior to pouring; this would mean having it in bottles.

A couple of weeks ago I had one of these commercially produced (got it in Waitrose), and with the yeast mixed back in it was pretty damn good.

Thanks Louis,

I also tried one in a bottle this weekend from my local Waitrose. Have to say that I really enjoyed it and this confirmed that it needed to be my next brew.

I had not thought about the yeast but you are correct, much nicer mixed in....

Cheers

PS. Will keep post on the brew progress....
