After years of on and off extract brewing, and being a part of this forum for some time and not contributing (forgive me of my sins), I have finally got myself some kit to start AG brewing.

I am based in Sandbach South Cheshire and wonder if anyone is aware of local groups in and around the area, or where I can find them?

Also thanks for all those that countribute and helped me master extract brewing. No doubt I will be posting and sharing my experience to learn and help others rather than just reading.

Unfortunately I have a Hopapocalypse Altocumulus Hanzo Rapture DIPA and Deadphoney extracts from THBC fresh in the corny's to be drunk for Xmas, so need to empty them before I can start my first AG batch.

Quite frankly the waiting is tourcher, but I am taking the time to read How To Brew as recomended in this forum thanks.

I am now personally beginning to wonder if the pubs of Sandbach will ever survive once all this lockdown and covid stuff ends. Perhaps we can replace 'Spoons with a Home Brew Shop?

Hello and welcome.

Wouldn't it be nice for us all to meet up one day.
Actually met OB yesterday for the first time (from a distance). His picture doesn't really do him justice!

Welcome to the forum. Sandbach is fast turning into the home brew Mecca of the North West. Uncredited source claim its the sole reason Cheshire is tier 2.

No need to wait. You've got a couple of kegs of beer to keep you going so do a midnight raid on the local bottle bank and bottle up you AG brew. I can't imagine there's any shortage of empty beer bottles in Cheshire.

AA I resent that slur on the good people of Cheshire. We’re Cheshire born and bred strong in the arm and weak in the head.

No slur intended or implied CC. And I would also observe that the good people of Cromer are Norfolk 'n good. (Thanks Sid Kipper).

It would be wonderful to all meet up - hopefully not too long now

Just to mention the picture was taken before combs were invented
