So, I had two beers on the go when my boiler broke.

I've now got the heat back on. I tasted my one that I'd dry hopped, and it's not vinegar, but it is really bitter. Almost too bitter. Might this be the type of hops I used in dry hopping? Might it be infected after the cold and having to use an aquarium heater?

I wonder if I should fish all those hops out of there now in case it gets any worse. Although I worry it's already too late.

how long have you dry hopped for and how much you used

The surface is covered like that, and the white thing you can just see if a small football sized bag of hops.

About 3 weeks its been like that. The boiler packed up not long after I threw that lot in.
