Hey folks,

Recipe called for an initial 12 minute hop boil. 50g Bravo for 12 min. Accidentally added them at the start of the boil. 60 minutes instead of 12!

My calc reckons this will give an overall IBU (with the other additions) of 104.

It's now fermenting.

Is this a write off? Will it be undrinkable?

Cheers!

What type of beer is it? It's only a write off if you want it to be.

What was the recipe? You made beer, just not the beer you wanted I guess!

Well, looks like you'll be kicking it west coast stylee.

I made this recipe recently and while it's a nice IPA, I'd like it to be more potent, it's pretty similar to the original and pretty easy drinking.

Be interested to hear how this works out, as it seems a pretty easy hack to get a more bitter brew if you like a more aggressive IPA athumb..

Hop bitterness also fades with time. Worst case, taste every two months until it has the bitterness you like.
