700 grams lager malt
150 grams carapils
150 grams carahell
100 grams honey
500grams light malt extract

Hops:
10 grams hersbruker at 60 mins
10 grams tettang at 30 mins
20 grams Liberty at 1 min
Brewers friend says 16 ibu and an abv of around 4.8%
I'll mash the the grain at 65oc for an hour get the boil on, add hops and then top up with cold water to 10 litres. Gonna use 1 sachet of salflager s 23 and cross my fingers

The packet said it will work up to 22oc so was gonna have it sitting at 16 to 18. The calculated said it most matched a blonde ale, but I'm with you and thinking it would more be a lager

Maybe a steam beer! Which uses lager yeast at warmer temperatures. But 16 is getting close to lager temperature.

How much would the taste alter if I moved it to a warmer part of the house say 20oc

I don't use lager yeasts. I would play safe and stay as cool as possible if it were me.

Will do, just had a quick google of "steam beers" sounds interesting. I might try one of them soon
