Black rock 2 can brew, only 1 can

Hi I was bought a black rock India pale ale and by habit I just started brewing without reading instructions,, didn't smell right half way through and then read dem, so it's a 2 can brew but I only have one and I had already mixed half a kilo of sugar and 14 litres of water, what is my outcome.e gonna be? Bin it?

It's a one can kit. You can either add a kilo of sugar or use dry or liquid malt then top up to 23 litres in your fv.

Says on the back of the can add 2 of these cans to make 23 litres, so its ****** now? Cuz I done it last nite thinking I can just brew half, but it's too late now to add sugar and water right??

Mix up the late additions, cool then add to the fermenter..

Coming from the other way around. Bought a Brewferm Pilsner kit which only makes 12L using a 1.5kg can of extract and 500g sugar. Would the end result be much different if water topped up to 20 litres and added an extra 500g of sugar?

No it will be what we call to thin and be very dry, by that i mean it will be like drinking flavoured water with alcohol

Also, can I stir it up or just pour in slowly and let it blend itself?

Just to let you know that adding sugar will certainly help bump your alcohol, that said to a certain extent which depends on how tolerant your yeast is. As @Rodcx500z has pointed out it will thin the body of the beer out with a tendancy to leave it drier as these are simple sugars that yeast will eat up.
If you are looking to improve or boost your alcohol level try using DME(Dry malt extract) or LME (Liquid malt extract).
The DME only requires roughly 2/3 that to LME as it is malt extract in a dried form.
You can copious varieties of sugars but be careful and do a bit of research as candied and invert sugars have different effects as does lactose which is none fermentable.
You'll get away with it the first few times but once you get into it you will notice the difference.
In the meantime just enjoy this addictive, expensive, frustrating nerve-wracking experience
