You could change the dextrose for grain I didn't have enough grains, and maybe change the yeast to s-04
On Brewgr it gives a style guide for and that is spot on a Best Bitter, Ordinary is 3.2-3.8%I think so it could be the crystal as well, ag is new to me still learning, it might not even be a bitter style wise but it tasted like one
I keep seeing references to @foxbat bitter do you have a copy of your latest recipe? I might have to give it a go.

You either forgot the link or are really keeping us in suspense.Foxbat seems top have several bitters. This is the one I brewed, which he calls "Mainline" it's much darker than the one shown above and reminds of a beer I had once in Cornwall with a picture of a pirate ship on the label. It might have been Wooden Hand, but not sure. Anyway it was very nice and Mainline even better.
No og was 1045 fg was 1006 but that could be down to Gervin 5.12%abv but it was good honest
You are right it was dry, I only used the t&s as I had nothing else at the time, I bought some gs the other day then my mrs found some in the cupboard so I now have about 800ml what % do you use in your bittersI'm not doubting you :hat:86% attenuation. A dry northern style bitter. It would have been a combination of the brewing sugar and notty/gervin. I prefer something a bit more malty myself. Made a bitter yesterday. I used 10% golden syrup, but so It didnt dry out too much I used Mangove Jacks Empire ale yeast. It's a lower attenuator (around 65% I think) but with the GS I'm expecting about 72%
