Right having found I have more empty kegs than kegs with beer in, I need something to drink.

Firstly Will be the Forum Brew III, Big Kenny. A Nice beer from Wez and now it's my turn to try and not ruin it.
Secondly will be Robinsons Old Tom A full bodied dark beer

Goldings, East Kent [5.00 %] (90 min)
Goldings, East Kent [5.00 %] (10 min)
Table Sugar, 6.98 %

Est Original Gravity: 1.079 SG
Est Final Gravity: 1.019

Right going to get the brewhouse all all set up, grains and hops weighed out and first batch of water treated, I'm trying to make tomorrow as easy as possible so I don't get the wrong grains and hops in the wrong brews!

Sorry can't find any more jobs for anyone.

Off to a good start woke up knowing the HLT will be warm :D Oh the joys of pids and timers
Mash on around 7:30am.
First on was Old Tom was expecting 23ltr @1.080 Got 23ltr @1.081
That was all finished by 11:30am mean while the mash for Big Kenny was on, after the Old Tom had an hour in the boiler
Hence it's been busy morning as mash finished cleaned out tun, refilled HLT and treated water, waited to get warm.
Big Kenny has an 3/4 hour left in the boiler.

Here's the pics of progress

Kenny's First Runnings

Well the end has come and really not much longer than a normal brew day.
Kenny has come out a little higher than I wanted should of had 23ltr @1.050 but got 23ltr @ 1.055 and with no room in the Fv to extend the brew length, It'll have to do! ( note to self Buy another 30ltr FV!)

Looks like you had an awesome and productive brewday MD :thumb: .
Gutted I missed out

The landy has to be parked there cos I'm in the garage space it's normally in. For any other shots I will have to walk and I'm too lazy.. :nono:

CB don't worry there will be other days! :hmm:

I even had time to strip the boiler elements out and clean them.... Preventative maintainance rather do them now than half way through a brew! :geek:
