Anybody used anything like this inside a brewpot instead of a mesh bag and if so, does it work?

Never used one as I use a bag but have seen posts on forums about them and they do work

The clawhammer system uses a mesh basket - Copper and Stainless Steel Distillation and BIAB Brewing Equipment
Can't say I currently know anyone that uses a mesh basket but ask me again in a couple of weeks once mine has arrived :) I'm making a diy version of the clawhammer.
