Brew No.3:
Went to my LHBS and saw this on the self today so decided to give it a go. All went well and dissolved the kit mixture with a kilo of light spray malt. All in the fermenting vessel with a new submersible heater at 24c.
Wort tasted good in the sampling tube and had a SG of 1044ish.
Just gotta wait a week now and try to find some more bottles...
