managed to buy my two grandchildren at the then age of 5 & 7 season tickets next to mine some years before Leicester city won the championship title the pride I felt a couple of years later when they were able from their seats in the stand they saw first hand and against the odds of 10,000/1 winning the Premier league the icing on the cake was my elder grandchild saying as the fireworks went off and the trophy was lifted "I will remember this day forever"

I remember being in the away end at Filbert Street in the late 80s. My team, Swindon Town, were 2-0 up with less than 10 minutes to go. We somehow managed to lose 3-2🫣.

That Prem winning season for LCFC was something else though.

I remember a couple of lively trips to the county ground from kent in 87, the last of which saw us surrending in the second half a two goal aggregate lead.

The funny thing is it's actually very accurate!
The funniest thing is, it was very funny, never did show the final series over here. I bet there are a few people over here going through the tailings and roads with the price of gold at what it is.

Look on YouTube "Lance finds gold". That scene is epic and truly captures the moment when you find something special. Well directed by Crook who got it right because he actually knows..

Brewing related: 1. A copy of ‘The Big Book of Brewing’ by Dave Line the month it was first published in 1974. 2. A week's course at Peter Austin's Ringwood Brewery in November1984 - which cost me £100.
