I found the label template websites quite limiting. I‘ve found Adobe have some very good free graphic design apps for the iPad. Photoshop Mix is very easy to pick up. I created a template for Avery L7169 labels, four to an A4 page and they just fit on 500ml bottles.

Made this one yesterday on Beer Labelizer. The free ones are pretty naff but the ones you're supposed to pay for can be lifted off for nothing - just use the print screen button.
