I have a 13 litre stockpot that I use for 'experimental brews', or just to make the wife some beer* :)
I like the idea of filling a DJ or two with a brew and then, if it works for me, making a full 5 gallon brew up, if it doesn't work then I've only wasted 1 kg of grain :)
*my wife barely drinks, if I make a full length brew the bottles sit around for years waiting for her to drink it :)
