beer too fizzy!

can i re bottle my beer to lower the fizz? last night i opened a bottle of a different batch and it practically exploded out of the bottle, what was left was far too cloudy to drink because of the amount of sediment, so can i re bottle it all without it going totally flat or should i try something else.

are you sure it's not infected ? have you tried it ?

Either bottled too early, ie it hadn't quite finished fermentation or you've primed with too much sugar, either way you're stuck with it :?

put it somewhere cool for a week ....and open them near the sink.....

Do all your bottles do this? I had a brew where one of my bottles produced a spectacular fountain and threw the beer all over the floor. But none of the others have.
