Beer tastes malty

Hi, im fairly new to brewing, have only made 3 brew from kits, the 3rd brew i made was meant to be a wheat beer using coopers hefe wheat kit and wheat lme, however due to ingredient shortage i couldnt get the wheat lme so instead i used a coopers can of light malt and then 500g on muntons wheat spray malt, on the day of bottling i took a sample and it tasted good, however now its been in the bottles conditioning for 2 and half weeks and i tasted one today and it tastes quite malty almost like a wort taste, im not sure whats happened, maybe it needs abit longer conditioning or the mix of 2 different malts could be a factor im quite unsure, the beer works out at about 5.5%

Ye, it was about 1.048 og and 1.009 when bottled, i bottled in 740ml pets with 2 carb drops
