You'll love it, nice piece of kit and the spouts are excellent. The stout spout does a really nice job even without a nitrogen setup.

I was originally thinking I would need a drip tray but these things are fabulous. If you go for the non flow control option you can get the spring load option but for me the convenience of flow control was a winner and they have a nice positive action anyway. Looking forward to seeing how you get on.

F00b4r makes a lot of sense, I got these as too impatient to wait :-) I am very impressed with the quality as they are excellent. Who knows the origin of them, they are From China after all. That said it's the most genuine looking product I've ever got from China, even the packaging is spot on and they work well. It will be interesting to see the comparison in the flesh but one thing is for certain the design is good.

One thing is worth saying though and that is that Malt Miller is excellent and a great asset to the UK homebrew community so on balance it's probably better ordering through him, the price difference is not great.

RE: anybody that ordered from Aliexpress to the UK

I've been looking to pull the trigger on 4FC Taps & 4 Stainless Long Shanks. No-one in the UK has stock of these and I'm happy to order from Aliexpress.
I'm a little concerned of the duty, as, depending on what they charge, It could make the imported taps the same price as the Keg Kingdom/MM.
Which seem a little pointless.

Anybody with experience of ordering via AliExpress care to feedback ?
Cheers

You'll either get charged duty, or you won't. It's pot luck, a lot of sellers put "$1 - commercial sample" or similar on the declaration form, or massively under value the contents, sometimes this works, other times they open the package, decide your beer taps are actually worth whatever they are online and charge you VAT and duty on that. I've no idea what criteria they apply, I guess a lot of low value packages to/from the same address?

You also have to pay the handling fee (£15 IIRC) to the courier, so even if VAT is only a few £ then it's £15 plus the VAT (and duty).

If you don't get charged duty then it's your responsibility to inform HMRC that you owe them money.

The post office has never asked for duty on the shanks and taps I have ordered. I have of course taken the appropriate actions.

Thanks for the positive feedback. What shipping option did everyone use ?
With a large order I was thinking of using one of the courier options DHL etc, epacket is cheaper but I have no experience with them.

Thanks

I've just used the bog standard cheapest option every time and it's worked perfectly if slowly, maybe 3 weeks?
