Lol Nick

It's in my garden room, about 12c in there today.

Edit: nope it's 10.7. There's no central heating in here at all.

Mine is set to 4C but the non-lagers are a bit too cold so I might up it to 7C too. Its a keezer in the garage though so recently hasn’t even got up to 4C, it was below or close to freezing a few times recently. Maybe it needs a tube heater for the winter.

All my beers get served at 10c during winter months and 12c during summer.

Benefits of having a proper underground cellar. It might not be the most ideal temperature for all the beer styles I brew, but it's always consistent and I think that's probably more important

On my big fridge-freezer I'm using at the moment, I turned it right down to number 1, waited 24 hours, poured a beer and took a temperature reading. It was 7.2C.

We've been having trouble with it though as the freezer kept defrosting, when we were in the minus temperatures cold spell we've just had. We thought it was broken, but turning it down to 1 fixed it. WTF lol. Almost like it was colder outside of the freezer than in 😂
Is it in the house or in a garage ? Most domestic fridges are not suitable for outside use as they will do exactly what your saying. 2 mates of mine have fridge freezers in their garage and they lost all the food out of the freezer during the cold spell as the compressor just stops cooling as the sensor tells it it’s cold enough so no need to kick in.
On the beer temp I keep my kegerator at 6c and let the beers warm up as per style. Best to pour 2 at a time and let one warm as I drink the other

It's in the house John but it's in the extension and it has no central heating. 😕
