Welcome to the forum

Check out the banner sponsors, they are clickable links.
Craftbrewer are in Oz so carriage might be a bit prohibitive on grains, and I have to confess that I've never used Matchless, but BrewUK and Barley Bottom will have everything you need.

Then there's themaltmiller.co.uk and Worcester hop shop and I'm sure you'll get plenty more recommendations.

Welcome to the forum Pip.

+1 for what Moley said. I personally use the Malt Miller, but all the above come highly recommended by members.

Cheers

cheers guys, what about members on here that make up kits then sell them?

I'm not sure there is anyone on here that makes up kits and sells them.

You can get Mysterios 40 pint SNPA kit from the MaltMiller, or you can just find a recipe in the recipes section on this site that you like the look of and buy all the ingredients for it from the Malt Miller, or one of the other recommended shops.

Weighing out the necessary hops and grains isn't too hard really, and you can always keep any bits you don't use for next time.

I have a freezer drawer full of half full bags of hops, and a fermenting bin with a large selection of assorted grains left over from previous brews.

They'll come in useful when I do a leftovers brew to use them up.

Worcester Hop Shop do a load of 23 litre All grain kits, you could just buy 2 and make 46 litres instead.

Barley Bottom do some All Grain kits as well

I think overall it works out cheaper buying the grains individually though and weighing them out yourself.

There are plenty of recipes to follow on here and on the internet. Graham Wheller's Britsh real Ale book is also a good start. Also you will find that some of the above suppliers sell all grain 'Kits' with the exact quantities of each ingredient.

Barley Bottom has a good range of dry kits, click here.

I think you'll find that most of us just buy the grains, hops and yeast and weigh out our own though.
