The bargain price was £10...
Then around £15 in diesel to collect, 105mile round trip.
A brand new one in my LHBS is £170

My question is, what do i do with it now?

It has 4 push fit connectors.

In
Out
In Long
Out Long
and a dial 1-7

Is it a case of connecting my beer line to the in and the cornie and a beer line and a tap to the out?
Then sit back and enjoy chilled beer?

i blew down the in connector and a liquid came out of the out connector and smelt like vinegar

I have never used one of these, but I would fill a cornie full of percarbonate first and pump it round and through all of the inputs/outputs that I could on that cooler to clean it out. Then I would flush it and finally, maybe, pump some Starsan, or HPPA or similar sanitiser to make sure it's really ready.

Well done for getting it for £10

Great price D, as long as it works  I'm not familiar with that one but would guess 1-7 is the cooling control, in and out are for standard beers, and the longs are for extra cold....could well be wrong though, maybe someone can confirm. As for Perilous advice and I'd also be tempted to flush the water bath through as it's probably full of crap.
