Hi,

Just after a bit of advice.

I am looking at making a batch of Bachata style beer. Basically a Desperado but with spiced rum not tequila.

I have seen people have added rum/tequila extract to their brew to add the flavour.

My question is could I just add Spiced rum rather than extract? If so what sort of quantity would I be looking at adding to a 40pint brew to add flavour but not to overpower?

I may even split it into 2x 20 pint batches and do one with and one without to compare (probably at the point of bottling.

Anyone had experience with this. I would grately appreciate some advice.
