More here including a picture which clearly shows the original columns used to support the original platforms and now been given a new life supporting the new platforms. Apparently column spacing was determined by the dimensions of a beer barrel.

ThanksYes, I did the kit as per the instructions and I’m enjoying it. It doesn’t seem to be too sweet for me.
Thanks half horse. Think I'll follow the instructions then.
Thanks
Just sampled the partial mash i did with 2 x real ale kit's, 2lb of marris otter, and a pound of crystal. I didnt add any irish moss to the boil, so feared it would be cloudy (added gelatine fining's to the keg) Pulled a pint off, and it was like soup, pulled another and it was a lot clearer, third pint off and it had a slight haze, but it tasted superb, and had a really nice hop aroma might leave till christmas, it's a bit special.
Had a look at their website, MYOD are a subsidiary of SPL International, a yeast and alcoholic drinks ingredients specialist and part of Bevie, who own Mangrove Jacks and Grainfather. An aside from the topic, the lady who replied via email when I asked for info on the above had a digital signature on her email, including the time which was NZ time... New Zealand, which also makes me believe that MYOD could be a subsidiary of Mangrove Jack's... Just a thought.
When I did the sugar vs malt with the IPA the malt one killed the hops and the sugar one was more like an IPA. Over time as the hops died out the malt one was slightly better in comparison. Being a real ale I think it matters less and maybe the malt will be the winner, especially as the kit comes with less extract to start with.I was wondering if the supplied 10g hop pellets will be enough taste or will it be hidden as I've used the extra malt extract?
