I recently received a rather welcome yet surprising gift from my father in law; 4 glass demijohns.
Apparently he used to do a bit of wine brewing when he was younger. The DJ's were all in a bit of a state but have cleaned up beautifully.
My question is regarding their use. I've never used a demijohn before...
Are they a secondary fermentation vessel or a conditioning vessel?
Looking forward to using them, but just unsure what for....:-|
