So my coopers ozzy lager is ok tasting and I was fairly pleased with it as my first effort.
My muntons stout tasted good in fv despite the bits that stuck to the side but when bottling I noticed a slight tang but thought nothing of it. I went to shed yesterday (been in there two weeks conditioning and they were primed with 2 x coopers carb drops) and none of the bottles were firm, I poured one out and there was no carbonation and it tasted vinegary so I assume its all to be poured away!
Currently in the FV i had John Bull IPA which again has a slight tang to it and there is now what appears to be the odd clump of mould on the top, is this my second wrecked brew?
I have been thoroughly sterilising my equipment and have no idea what has gone wrong, temp has been 22 throughout.
:hmm:
