Hello all
Last night when selecting a couple of beers from the shed I noticed the cali common seemed like it had "bits" suspended in it. It's been bottled a few weeks now and initially I had pouring problems with the yeast disturbing very easily. This is better after a couple of days in the fridge.
I've had a look now and they are clear again..no bits! Could it be that the bits are yeast and owing to the past few days being quite warm but last night was very much cooler?

Cheers

May be that the recent very warm weather has started the yeast up to go foraging for the more difficult to ferment sugars.

Or it could just be that it is easier to clean dishes with warm water than cold.

Take your pick. A shed in August is possibly going to overheat?

Cooling it right down will solve the immediate issue, but severe temp fluctuations will not increase its longevity, so drink it up, mate.

Ditto! :thumb:

I reckon the "floaty bits" would be yeast that has decided to do the last bit of carbonation in the warm weather; especially if it tasted okay! :thumb:
