Anyone know what yeast this uses?

In a nearby Tesco I found a bottle of Fullers India Pale Ale which is bottle conditioned. Was wondering whether the yeast in the bottle is the primary strain? If so I'm gonna harvest it and put it in an English IPA I have planned.

I've only read that 1845 and bengal lancer use the primary strain. Can't see why Fullers wouldnt use the primary strain on that too though.

Yes they are, Fullers propriatal strain. I agree with you. I dont see any sense in 1845 and BL being bottle conditoned with there own strain then using a different strain to bottle condtiton the IPA

Yes. wyeast 1968 is their eqivalent

WLP005 is supposed to be the ringworm strain
