Anyone not paid attention when they set off their most recent batch and plugged in the heater into the cooler and vice versa? Then only realised the afternoon after? Yeah me neither...

Crikey what heater are you using? My trick is to leave the temp probe outside the fridge.
I had a fan heater in there. Surprised it survived tbh.
I have just thrown a spunding valve on it and set it to 10psi. In a last ditch attempt at damage control. It's got CML FIVE in it which, to it's credit has survived the heat and is bubbling away quite happy.
A taste of it has it very bitter. But that could well be the temp giving the impression.

Tasting update.
Very thin. No make character at all (it is a pale ale with carahells and some leftover caragold), almost watery. No obvious off flavours coming through at this point. Overarching flavour comes from the incognito Chinook that was added at flameout, let's hope that mellows in. I suspect it won't.
