anybody use or try these before for capping wine or beer

hi i have something like these at home for sealing olive oil bottles etc
have often capped a half drank bottle of beer and its kept fine

They would pop off as pressure builds crown caps are the safest bet

They would probably be ok for wine, although for how long I don't know. I'd think they are only really safe for use as you have done - i.e. to cap an already opened bottle.

i use them for shop bought wine and it keeps for as long as you want wouldnt try it with beer due to pressure but its up to you
