I'm really starting to think these kits have it in for me! I'm just brewing up a no sugar wine kit, but when I poured the grape juice into the fermenter it looked to be filled with what looked like clumps of tissue. On further investigation it seems to be like small clumps of scum. I wondering if it was maybe something to do with recent heat, but has anyone come across this before?

It may have something to do with the warmer weather but I’ve not encountered anything similar.

This is probably because I “massage” the sachet that the grape juice comes in!

I confess that the reason for this is to ensure that nothing gets left behind when I add a bit of hot water to rinse out the bag! (Daft as it sounds, this is probably more important in hot weather when I want to keep the temperature low!)

Hope that yours goes okay!
